Yonkers Redevelopment Plan Phase I Fact Sheet River Park Center Description: A more than 2 million-square-foot mixed-use complex with retail, residential, hotel, office and entertainment components well as a new minor league ballpark. Location: Area known as the Gateway District, which includes development of two city blocks in the heart of downtown just east of City Hall. This includes the site known as "Chicken Island," the Getty Square municipal parking and the government center parking garage. Components: . 465,000 square feet of retail space, including a supermarket . 325,000 square feet of office space in multiple buildings . 80,000 square feet of restaurant space with restaurants opening onto a new riverwalk along the reopened Saw Mill River . 80,000-square-foot, 15-screen movie theater . 6,500-seat ballpark to be located on the roof level of River Park Center . 950 units of residential housing in two buildings . Parking facilities with approximately 4,340 spaces Cacace Center Description: Complex comprised of government offices, hotel, Fire Headquarters and parking facilities. Location: Nepperhan Avenue and South Broadway Components: . 150,000-square-foot office building, of which more than half of the space to be occupied by city agencies . 75,000-square-foot, 150-room hotel . New 1,470-space parking facility to be built on southside of Nepperhan Avenue on vacant site adjacent to Cacace Justice Center . New 50,000 square-foot, six-bay Fire Headquarters to be built adjacent to new parking garage at Cacace Justice Center at the corner of Nepperhan Avenue and New Main Street. Palisades Point Description: A two-building residential and retail complex with riverfront esplanade. Location: A Hudson River waterfront development site south of the Yonkers train station. Components: . Two 25-story residential buildings with a total of 436 condominium residences offering spectacular views of the Hudson River and the Palisades . 9,000 square feet of retail/restaurant or office space . Two parking facilities with 725 spaces . Riverfront esplanade with publicly accessible open space and attendant parking, sculpture garden and boat launch Reopening of the Saw Mill River . Uncover portions of Saw Mill River running underneath parts of downtown near Getty Square and Larkin Plaza. .
